The Middletown, DE facility is seeking a Shipping Operator. Oversee the receiving aspects of the shipping department; including but not limited to incoming raw materials, data entry of all materials on the shipping computer system, UPS, Federal Express, etc. Maintain daily flow of orders and assist with expediting shipments. Assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy; including but not limited to completing proper paperwork, maintaining return and MD system, and maintaining FIFO lot system. Responsible for on-the-job training and directing the work of all Shipping Operators. Controls inventory and resolves related problems. Refers all inquiries from sales, carrier representatives and vendors to the Shipping Area Coordinator. Performs special projects as needed. Backs-up Shipping Area Coordinator. Support all shipping/receiving functions related to all Macdermid Divisions handled by the Middletown facility
