Details: Major Duties: Verify number of cases on pallets along with case counts. Make up pallet sheets. Pull shipping instructions off AS-400. Determine whether it ships or warehouses. If order ships: Wrap pallet and weigh Stage in shipping department If order warehouses: Scan pallet sheet and location Place into scanned location Pull callouts given by customer service noting: Number of cases pulled Case counts Verify part numbers Wrap and weigh Stage in shipping Perform daily forklift inspection and prepare OSHA required log. Works overtime as needed. Performs other related duties as directed. Minor Duties: Keep warehouse neat and orderly. File all transaction registers separately. Assist accounting with job closing issues. Attend monthly safety meeting and observe all safety policies and procedures. Work experience requirements: Must complete & maintain valid forklift certification. Essential Abilities and Working Conditions: Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs constantly Good Math skills Must be able to communicate with other departments Must be able to prioritize work in order to meet or exceed production goals and customer expectations Safety shoes required Good organizational skills
