Details: SUMMARY Our client, a reputable transportation company in Charleston is seeking an Imports Specialist to support the adherence of rules and regulations pertaining to international transportation. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Monitor a compliance program that documents, validates, and audits against current import and export rules and regulations.? Ensure that international shipping is compliant and supports best practices when importing and exporting goods.? Support access to full visibility to the global supply chain and status of shipments in transit.? Work with complimentary departments on all entries at risk or delayed to expedite the release and final delivery of shipment.? Other duties as assigned.
