Details: Machine Operator / Material HandlerResponsible for the efficient production, maintenance, setup and changeover of Packaging equipment. Solid Dose Filling, Thermoform and Cold Forming,Liquid Filling and Secondary Packaging Production Lines. Performs minor equipment adjustments, changeovers, preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and system performance improvements. Moves materials to, from, and in the production areas/ rooms. Performs area and equipment cleaning. Performs all work in accordance to company policies, procedures and regulations contained in company cGMP’S, safety standards, SOP’s and housekeeping standards etc. Identifies all safety devices and emergency switches on all Packaging lines. Verifies understanding of all safety procedures. Operates all equipment, assigned, as per training administered. Understands and performs the start-up, operation and shutdown procedures for all equipment Selects and uses proper tools for machine adjustments. Prepares lines for daily production. Operates and interface on- line computers. Prepares tooling and performs minor changeovers on designated equipment, as assigned. Performs minor preventive maintenance tasks on designated equipment, as assigned. Maintains records and documentation as required. Maintains work area, tools and equipment in a clean and safe order. Performs room and equipment cleaning per SOPs Maintains and stocks components/materials for assigned machine/ area's/ room. Moves components from Warehouse locations as needed. Removes finished goods, components, scrap pallets, and empty bulk drug drums as needed Keeps room staging areas safe, neat and orderly. Exhibits flexibility to work in different areas of the Facility, Machines/ area's/ rooms as assigned.
