Details: The Packing Associate packs glass slides in boxes and maintains counts of products packed, removes product waste and recycling, and transfers/prepares packaged products for wrapping. See notes for additional info.Essential Functions: •Set-up packing stations with proper materials•Pick up glass in units from trays, measure quantity, and pack in boxes per customer/product specifications•Select out unusable slides.•Pack to production and quality standards.•Run box making machine and follow schedule to make-up packaging.•Clear finished boxes to the correct bins.•Keep packaging area supplies neat and organized; Put away supplies when done•Work as a team with other departments to ensure product flow•Required to meet daily production targets determined by the Production Supervisor. •Support and participate in PPI projects as requested•Miscellaneous duties as assigned
